Very cute, tiny change purse. That is a AA battery I used for scale. It is solid, no rips or tears. Inside is a clear tag that says; Celebrity Inc. NY New York. Including the snap enclosure it is almost 2 3/4" long and about the same size across the widest part. Fabric is cloth, and appears to be embroidered. I found no rips or tears inside or outside. Inside lining is plastic and the enclosure is metal, as is the opening area.

Shows some light tarnish on the prongs that surround the cab (this is more noticeable in direct light) and shows some old glue residue on the back of the cab. It is not a sloppy job but the stone may have been a replacement, certainly looks fab any way.

This lucite box was made by Celebrity, Inc., of New York in the 1950s. The cover is entirely covered with rows of pearls in variegated sizes. It appears to be made in one piece to cover the entire cover, which is white. The rest of the box is an off white with grooves up and down around the 2" round box. Measures 1 1/2" high. Someone wrote their names on the bottom with ink!!! I worked to remove it but it appears to have soaked into the lucite. That is what is showing in the fourth picture but it is not through the box. No chips and would make an excellent trinket box.
